Machaon Puga Turns in Season-Best Effort
Machaon Puga produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Prospect Ridge Academy to the win on Saturday. Puga picked up 85 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also rushed for 130 yards.incredibly, Puga got all that yardage with just one huge grab

Dante Vigil and Co. Win Seventh in a Row
Dante Vigil was instrumental in extending Forge Christian's winning streak to seven on Friday. Flatirons Academy had no answer to Vigil as he made 13 total tackles (2.0 for loss).
Forge Christian's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-0. Vigil and Forge Christian will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Platte Canyon at 7:00 p.m. on October 25th.

Carter Hogsett Sets Career High in Rushing Yards
Sadly, Carter Hogsett posting his best game of the season wasn't enough to lead Platte Canyon over Prospect Ridge Academy on Saturday. Hogsett rushed for 234 yards while picking up 8.1 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 52 yards.
On the year, Hogsett has averaged 17.5 receiving yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 0.83 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 72.5 rushing yards.

Forge Christian Gets a Boost from Strange in 42-0 Victory
Sullivan Strange was instrumental in extending Forge Christian's winning streak to seven on Friday. Flatirons Academy had no answer to Strange as he threw for 159 yards and three touchdowns on only 13 passes.
On the year, Strange has thrown 18 touchdowns while averaging 163 passing yards per game. It gets even more impressive: after seven games last season, he was only averaging 22.86 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 49.71 rushing yards.

Euli Tafoya and Co. Win Seventh in a Row
Forge Christian picked up their seventh consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Euli Tafoya. Nobody could stop Tafoya as he rushed for 72 yards and a touchdown on only six carries.
On the year, Tafoya has run in 5 touchdowns while averaging 92.6 rushing yards per game.
