East Union extended their losing streak  to three  on Friday, dropping them down to 6-3. They were  outmatched by the Manteca Buffaloes and fell  56-20. The  matchup marked the Lancers' lowest-scoring  game so far this season.
 Despite the loss, East Union still got an impressive performance from   Jackson Fay, who rushed for 187 yards and three  scores while picking up 8.9 yards per carry.
As for Manteca, their win was  their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 8-0. Those  home  victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 11.3 points on average over those games.
  Nikko Juarez continued  his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 180 yards and four  touchdowns. His rushing production has been exceptional  as that marked his fifth straight game with at least 126  rushing yards.  Maava Tialavea was another major influence, as he rushed for 62 yards and ran in a TD.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. East Union will get a bit of extra time to process the  defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Mountain House at 7:00  p.m.  on  the 31st. As for Manteca, they will host Patterson  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. That  contest will pit two of the most dominant  backs against one another:  Juarez and  Dasen Pettis.
