On Friday, Apollo got the W thanks in part to Cristian Acevedo playing the best basketball he has all season. Acevedo dropped a double-double on 16 points and 11 rebounds. The effort also marked the most blocks (three) he has had since back in December of 2023.

Apollo and Sunnyslope will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Acevedo had to take a defeat the last time the two teams duked it out, losing their match back in January 65-45.
