The Slidell Tigers had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They slipped by John Curtis Christian 94-93 on Wednesday. The win was just what Slidell needed coming off of a 101-51 defeat in their prior game.
Leading Slidell to victory were Jereme Landor and Mike Parlow. Landor scored 25 points along with 9 rebounds and 7 assists, while Parlow scored 31 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaden Hookfin, who scored 11 points along with 7 rebounds and 3 blocks.
The win got Slidell back to even at 4-4. As for John Curtis Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Slidell is on the road again on Tuesday and play against West Jefferson at 5:30 p.m. on December 5th. As for John Curtis Christian, they will take on Landry at 7:10 p.m. on Tuesday.
