The biggest upset of the week belonged to Delta, who took down 1052nd ranked Cristo Rey, 20-8.
The Saints were the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from fifth to third in Sacramento Metropolitan Athletic League. Delta defeated the Saints 20-8 earlier in the week.
Anthony Castaneda threw for 170 yards and 3 touchdowns. He was 6-9 with 0 interception.
Castaneda made the biggest impact on defense this week as Woodland Christian topped Foresthill. The 6-foot-5 senior racked up 3.0 sacks.
Chance Stocking was the best running back in the league this week. He ran for 69 yards on 11 carries as the Cardinals fell to Big Valley Christian. Teammate Gerardo Castro added to the ground attack by rushing for 23 yards.
Woodland Christian's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Cardinals feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Castaneda has thrown for 701 yards and 14 touchdowns this season, while Kameron Arnold has 9 catches for 273 yards.
The Wildfires are currently in second, while Cristo Rey is in fourth.
Adding to the longest winning streak in the league this week, Woodland Christian beat Foresthill 56-15. The victory was the fifth in a row for the team.
