Baseball Recap: North Davidson Snags Third Win in Last Four Games

North Davidson came out on top against Atkins on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive 14-run third inning. The Knights' pitchers stepped up to hand the Camels a 17-0 shutout. The Knights might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matchups by eight runs or more this season.

North Davidson has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-6 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 21.0 runs over those games. As for Atkins, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-8.

Looking ahead, North Davidson will face off against Ledford at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Atkins will be paying especially close attention to the Knights' contest: after the Knights face off against the Panthers, they'll take on Atkins again at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
