Cross led A Region VI in scoring this week after putting up 45 points on Lake Marion. Dionte Evans ran for 151 yards and caught two passes for 43 yards in the win.
Military Magnet Academy made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 10,948 from 12,202.
The Trojans' offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver.
Branford Halls put up the best numbers through the air as Cross topped the Gators. He finished with a total of two completions for 43 yards and one touchdown.
Baptist Hill's Troy Harrison and De'Angelo Frasier have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Harrison has thrown for 847 yards this season, while Frasier has 27 catches for 432 yards. The Eagles' Steven Archie leads the league in rushing yards with 617.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when St. John's takes on the Bobcats. At the moment, the Islanders are in second, while Baptist Hill is in third.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when St. John's takes on Marion Brown's team. James Waring Jr.'s team has allowed 116 points this season, while the Bobcats have given up 110. The Islanders allowed 8 points last week as they defeated Scott's Branch.
