Forrest County Agricultural took a serious blow against Poplarville, falling 45-15. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Forrest County Agricultural in their matchups with Poplarville: they've now lost eight in a row.
Poplarville found their leader in underclassman Tylan Keys, who rushed for 201 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 10.6 yards per carry. Keys has been hot recently, having posted two or more rushing touchdowns the last seven times he's played. Landon Reinike was another key contributor, rushing for 50 yards and a touchdown.
Forrest County Agricultural's loss dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Poplarville, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season.
Forrest County Agricultural does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Poplarville will take on Lawrence County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Lawrence County will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
