Evadale is 9-0-1 against Hull-Daisetta since March of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Rebels will venture away from home to take on the Bobcats at 4:00 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty run totals in their previous games.
As a matter of fact, Evadale put up the most runs they have all season on Friday. They put the hurt on Deweyville with a sharp 13-1 win. The Rebels not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since April 22, 2025 (when they won 14-0).
Cooper Palmer made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits (and only one walk). He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with two runs and two RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April of 2025.

In other batting news, Brett Buckner was excellent, going 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Evadale is undefeated when Buckner posts two or more runs, but 3-6 otherwise. Easton Seals also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.
Meanwhile, while Hull-Daisetta put up plenty of runs on Monday, the same can't be said for Burkeville. The Bobcats were the clear victors by a 15-0 margin over the Mustangs. Considering the Bobcats have won four contests by more than 14 runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.
Like Evadale, Hull-Daisetta also got a great game from a two-way player: Josh Mocini. Throwing, Mocini pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Brayden Fregia tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. At bat, Mocini went 1-for-2 with two runs and one RBI, while Fregia went a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple.
In other batting news, Hull-Daisetta got a massive performance out of Gauge Russell, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Zach Burks, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.
Hull-Daisetta always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .769. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Hull-Daisetta's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-2. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.2 runs on average over those games. As for Evadale, the victory got them back to even at 6-6.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Evadale has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 2.7 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Hull-Daisetta struggles in that department as they've been averaging 4.3 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Evadale got the 'W' in their previous meeting back in April of 2025 against Hull-Daisetta by a conclusive 15-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rebels since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
