The Williamsburg Academy Stallions had already proven themselves in the regular season, and didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They breezed by Spartanburg Christian Academy at home to the tune of 46-7. Williamsburg Academy's win was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.
Camden Moore was on fire: he rushed for 120 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries, and also picked up 73 receiving yards. Moore's longest rush was for an incredible 82 yards. Another player making a difference was Conrad Balder, who threw for 135 yards and three touchdowns while completing 71.4% of his passes.
Despite the defeat, Spartanburg Christian Academy saw an underclassman step up: Noah Caffell rushed for 107 yards and a touchdown.
Williamsburg Academy pushed their record up to 12-0 with that win, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 33.5 points. As for Spartanburg Christian Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-8.
Williamsburg Academy will look to defend their home field on Friday against Beaufort Academy at 7:30 p.m. That game will pit two of the most dominant backs against one another: Jaxen Porter and Teague Ward. Spartanburg Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
