On Friday Mediapolis will take on Sigourney-Keota at 7:00 PM. Mediapolis are expected to win -- but not by much -- so they will need to come into the matchup prepared for a fight.
After a disappointing three points in their last match, Mediapolis made sure to put some points up on the board against Van Buren last Friday. Mediapolis steamrollered Van Buren 46-6. Followers of Mediapolis probably expected little less of the team in a season in which they have collected four blowout victories.
Meanwhile, if Sigourney-Keota were riding high off their 48-12 takedown of Columbus two weeks ago, that ride came to an abrupt end. Sigourney-Keota fell to Wapello 14-24.
Mediapolis's win lifted them to 7-1 while Sigourney-Keota's loss dropped them down to 5-3. We'll find out if Mediapolis can add another positive mark to their record or if Sigourney-Keota can shake off the defeat and take the spring out of Mediapolis's step.
