Meanwhile, Paint Creek was the victim of a rough 52-30 defeat at the hands of Rule on Tuesday. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Paint Creek in their matchups with Rule: they've now lost eight in a row.
Knox City's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 19-2. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.3 points per game. As for Paint Creek, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-7.
Everything came up roses for Knox City against Paint Creek in their previous meeting back in February of 2023 as the squad secured a 73-21 win. With Knox City ahead 45-10 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
