The Larue County Hawks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three contests by 25 points or more this season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Wednesday as they easily beat Henry County 69-25 at home. That looming 69-25 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Larue County yet this season.
It was another big night for Daniel Allen, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and ten rebounds. The game was his seventh in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jagger Mardis, who scored 18 points.
The win makes it two in a row for Larue County and bumps their season record up to 3-4. As for Henry County, their loss dropped their record down to 6-3.
Larue County will wrap up 2023 with a road trip to face off against North Laurel at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Henry County will finish 2023 at home by hosting Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Valley has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
