Despite the loss, Hebbronville got a solid performance out of Alejandro Vasquez, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 11 rebounds. Vasquez set a new season high mark in steals with three. Another player making a difference was jose garcia, who scored seven points along with six rebounds.
Bruni's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Hebbronville, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-8.
Bruni ended up a good deal behind Hebbronville in their previous meeting on December 1st, losing 39-24. Can Bruni avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
