The Torrington Raiders won the last time they faced the Waterbury Career Academy Spartans, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Torrington strolled past the Spartans with points to spare, taking the game 46-32.
Haley Burger continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 19 points and 12 rebounds.
Torrington's victory bumped their record up to 8-6. As for Waterbury Career Academy, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-7.
Torrington will take on the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Waterbury Career Academy, they will head out on the road to challenge the Red Raiders at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
