Headland entered their tilt with Houston Academy on Tuesday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They were the clear victors by a 10-2 margin over the Raiders. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 9-6 back in March.

Headland's victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 20-7. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for Houston Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-14.
