On Saturday Saugus take on Lynn English at Manning Bowl at 2:00 PM. Saugus aren't expected to win, but seeing as the odds didn't stop them last game, maybe the team has another upset up their sleeve.
Saugus were able to grind out a solid win over Salem last Saturday, winning 14-0.
Meanwhile, if Lynn English were riding high off their 31-9 takedown of Somerville two weeks ago, that ride came to an abrupt end. Lynn English came up short against Malden Catholic, falling 28-41.
Saugus found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unpleasant 22-46 punch to the gut against Lynn English the last time the two teams met. Can Saugus avenge their loss, or is history doomed to repeat itself ? We'll soon find out.
