Henry Academy added to the longest winning streak in SCISA 8-Man Region I (8 Man) this week by beating Beaufort Academy, 48-20. The victory was the sixth in a row for the Patriots.
Cathedral Academy and Faith Christian played the most contested game in the league this week, with Cathedral Academy eventually emerging with a 40-38 victory.
Joseph Wilson was a beast in the backfield as Henry Academy defeated Beaufort Academy.
Jonathan Hickman was the best receiver in the league this week as James Island Christian topped Charleston Collegiate. Hickman tallied 1 reception for 35 yards.
Leading SCISA 8-Man Region I (8 Man) in both passing and receiving yards, James Island Christian's Josh Black and Hickman have proven to be a lethal combination. Black has thrown for 1,028 yards this season, while Hickman has 24 catches for 715 yards. Mike McCoy's team's Wilson leads the league in rushing yards with 2,706.
The Patriots led the league in scoring this week by notching 48 points on Brock Vaigneur's team. Wilson ran for 336 yards in the win.
