Davis is on a ten-game streak of home wins (dating back to last season), while Kingston is on a five-game streak of away wins (also dating back to last season): one of those streaks is about to end. The Wolves will host the Redskins at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.
Davis is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They never let Dickson get on the board and left with a 29-0 win on Tuesday. Considering the Wolves have won six games by more than nine runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
Meanwhile, Kingston made easy work of Antlers on Tuesday and carried off a 10-0 victory. While fans of the Redskins might be used to big wins, the ten-run margin marked the team's biggest one yet.
Blane Henry was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out six over five innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in March of 2025. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.
In other batting news, Ty Jones was a standout: he got on base in all three of his plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Hayden Seeney, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and two runs.
Kingston always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .538. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Davis' win bumped their record up to 9-2. As for Kingston, their victory bumped their record up to 5-1.
Davis was able to grind out a solid win over Kingston when the teams last played back in March of 2024, winning 7-2. Will the Wolves repeat their success, or do the Redskins have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
