In what's become a running theme this season, the Mercer County Titans gave their fans yet another huge  win on Saturday. They really took it to Western Hills for the full four quarters, racking up a  65-30 victory at home. With Mercer County ahead  39-15 at the half, the  matchup was all but over already.
  Ak Drakeford continued  her habit of posting crazy stat lines,  dropping  a double-double on 23 points and 13  rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which  she has scored at least a third of Mercer County's points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Izzie Carlton, who  dropped  a double-double on 11 points and 17  rebounds.
 Mercer County's victory bumped their record up to 15-10. As for Western Hills, they are  on  a  four-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 7-14.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mercer County has the luxury  of staying home another  game and will welcome Casey County at 7:30  p.m.  on February 13th. Casey County will have to bring their A-game into this one,  as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Kentucky Rankings (they are ranked 201st, while Mercer County is ranked 82nd). As for Western Hills, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Presentation at 7:30  p.m.  on Monday. Presentation is coming into the  game with four straight  defeats on the road,  meaning Western Hills will have to defend against a  team hungry for a  win.
