This was a revenge  contest for Estrella Foothills, as the team was forced to settle for  a  7-6 loss when these two played  last Thursday.
  Maddison Peter made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she  didn't allow a single  earned run while striking out 11 over five innings pitched. Peter has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  pitched less than five  innings in ten consecutive pitching appearances. Peter was also big at the plate,  going 2-for-3 with a  triple, a  run,  and  an  RBI.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Destiny Madrid, who  went 3-for-4 with three  doubles, two  runs,  and a  stolen base. Another player making a difference was  Elila McFall, who  scored three  runs and  stole a base while going 3-for-3.
 On Agua Fria's side,  Kierra Blythe was cooking despite her team's loss,   going 3-for-2 with two  doubles.
 Estrella Foothills has  been performing  well recently as they've  won seven of their last nine games,  which provided a nice bump to their 15-12 record  this season. As for Agua Fria, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-15.
