TK Francis and Dylan Collins provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Claremore Christian. The connection went for 60 yards, the longest such play in C District 3 (8 Man) this season.
Bluejacket suffered a letdown when it was bounced from the state Top 25 this week after beating the Warriors. The Chieftains had been ranked 23rd, but fell to 29.
Bluejacket's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Chieftains feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Francis has thrown for 1829 yards and 26 touchdowns this season, while Collins has 40 catches for 639 yards. Dylan Anderson leads the league in rushing with 845 yards.
Entering into this week's contest against Kremlin-Hillsdale, Francis is short just 171 passing yards to break 2,000 on the season.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Timberlake takes on Cherokee. At the moment, the Tigers are in fifth, while the Chiefs are in first.
Cherokee extended the longest winning streak in C District 3 (8 Man) this week by beating Deer Creek, 36-8. The victory was the seventh in a row for Bryce Schanbacher's team.
