Cheney entered their tilt with Conway Springs on Monday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over Conway Springs. The game marked Cheney's most dominant win of the season so far.

Gracen Radell looked comfortable as he struck out eight batters over 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits (and only one walk). He is becoming a predictor of Cheney's success: when he allows at most one earned run the team is undefeated (and 1-2 when he doesn't).

On the hitting side, Cheney let Reece Tolar and Cameron Eastman run wild. Cheney was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .435. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .321 or higher in four consecutive matches.

Cheney pushed their record up to 4-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 4.0 runs on average over those games. As for Conway Springs, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Cheney didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 5-2 victory against Trinity Academy on the 3rd. As for Conway Springs, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 5-0 defeat against Kingman on the 3rd.
