Nicolet's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Nacir Beamon led the charge by scoring 28 points along with five steals. Beamon is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last three games he's played. Davion Hannah was another key contributor, scoring 21 points along with eight rebounds and four steals.
Port Washington's loss dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Nicolet, they pushed their record up to 12-3 with that victory, which was their 18th straight at home dating back to last season.
Port Washington will take on West Bend West at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. West Bend West is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak. As for Nicolet, they will head out on the road to square off against Grafton at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Grafton will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Wisconsin Rankings (they are ranked 69th, while Nicolet is ranked sixth).
