Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Gunnison Valley to victory, but perhaps none more so than Braxton Pickett, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten boards. That's the most rebounds Pickett has posted since back in December of 2023. Landry Edwards was another key player, putting up 14 points.
Rockwell now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Gunnison Valley, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.
Rockwell wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, an 81-74 loss against West Wendover on the 6th. As for Gunnison Valley, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 68-54 win against Wayne on the 6th.
