On Thursday, Signal Mountain earned a 43-31 win over Soddy Daisy. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Signal Mountain.
Meanwhile, White County had already won seven in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15 points), and they went ahead and made it eight on Thursday. They managed a 54-49 victory over Livingston Academy. That's two games straight that White County has won by exactly five points.
It was another big night for Celeste Reed, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and ten rebounds. Bella Winingham was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with two steals.
Signal Mountain is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which somehow isn't as good as their 14-4 record this season. As for White County, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 26-2.
Signal Mountain came up short against White County in their previous matchup back in December of 2018, falling 59-49. Can Signal Mountain avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
