Terry is 0-1 against Magnolia West since October of 2022 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Terry Rangers will head out on the road to face off against the Magnolia West Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. Terry is hoping to put an end to a five-game streak of away losses dating back to last season.
Last Friday, Terry was beaten by Friendswood 59-14. While losing is never fun, Terry can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 651st, while Friendswood is ranked 290th).
Meanwhile, Magnolia West had to suffer through a rough 53-14 loss at the hands of Fulshear. Magnolia West was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 32-7.
The losses dropped Terry to 1-6 and Magnolia West to 4-3.
Terry was dealt a bruising 51-12 defeat at the hands of Magnolia West in their previous matchup back in October of 2022. Thankfully for Terry, Ryan Ojeda (who threw for 162 yards and three touchdowns) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
