The Wyndmere/Lidgerwood Warbirds had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They took down Enderlin 56-42 on Tuesday. That's another feather in the cap for Wyndmere/Lidgerwood, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Enderlin's loss came despite strong showings from Ayden Glarum and Jake Cimbura. Glarum dropped a double-double on 12 points and 14 rebounds, while Cimbura scored 11 points along with eight rebounds and four steals.
Wyndmere/Lidgerwood's victory bumped their record up to 4-9. As for Enderlin, their loss was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-13.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wyndmere/Lidgerwood will challenge the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Maple River will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in their respective state's rankings (they are ranked 246th in Minnesota, while the Warbirds are ranked 91st in North Dakota). As for Enderlin, they will head out on the road to face off against the Loboes at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
