Richfield had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 23.4 points) and they went ahead and made it six on Friday. Everything went their way against the Robbinsdale Cooper Hawks as they made off with a 59-35 victory. The Spartans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten contests by 21 points or more this season.

Richfield's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Iona Macnabb, who went 5 of 12 on her way to 15 points and six boards. Another player making a difference was Desirai Chappell, who went 6 for 13 en route to 14 points and seven steals.

Richfield smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 23 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in 17 consecutive matches dating back to last season.

Richfield pushed their record up to 13-3 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.8 points per game. As for Robbinsdale Cooper, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-13 record this season.

Richfield wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, an 80-69 defeat against Two Rivers on the 25th. As for Robbinsdale Cooper, they will head out on the road to take on Fridley at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
