After flying high against Colorado School for the Deaf Blind  last Friday, Arizona School for the Deaf & Blind came back down to earth. The Arizona School for the Deaf & Blind Sentinels fell  52-40 to the Phoenix Day School for the Deaf Roadrunners on Saturday. The Sentinels haven't had much luck with the Roadrunners recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

 Despite the loss, Arizona School for the Deaf & Blind still got an impressive performance from   Irving Arizmendi, who  went 12 of 21  on his way to 31 points. That's the most  points  Arizmendi has posted since back in December of 2024.
 Leading Phoenix Day School for the Deaf to victory were  David Garcia and  Donovan Etheridge.  Garcia  went 8 for 11  en route to 18 points in addition to six  boards and five  steals, while  Etheridge  dropped  a double-double on 14  points and 12  rebounds. Etheridge has been hot recently, having  posted ten or more  rebounds the last four times he's  played. Another player making a difference was  Franchesco Yesuf, who  posted ten points and five  assists.
Arizona School for the Deaf & Blind's defeat dropped their record down to 7-14. As for Phoenix Day School for the Deaf, the  victory was  the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-14.
 Arizona School for the Deaf & Blind wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  matchup,  a  56-24  loss against Lourdes Catholic on the 4th. As for Phoenix Day School for the Deaf, they also  didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  game,  a  67-29  defeat against Sequoia Pathway Academy on the 4th.
