Valley View posted their closest victory since August 15th on Saturday. They skirted past the La Quinta Blackhawks 1-0. That's the fourth time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 2-0 victory last Saturday.

Despite the loss, La Quinta saw an underclassman step up: freshman Lola Carde had 14 digs. Carde is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 14 or more in each of the last five games she's played.

Valley View is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-6 record this season. As for La Quinta, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-10.

Valley View has already played their next contest (against Arlington), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for La Quinta, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Indio on the 25th.
