Plano West had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the six-run drubbing they dealt McKinney on Friday. The Plano West Wolves were the clear victor by a 10-4 margin over the McKinney Lions. The victory continues a trend for the Wolves in their matchups with the Lions: they've now won four in a row.

Marlee Flanigan spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and one unearned) runs on six hits and racked up seven Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.
