On Friday Rison will take on Barton at 7:00 PM. The two teams are strolling into their matchup after big wins in their previous games.
Rison got themselves on the board against Lakeside last Friday, but Lakeside never followed suit. Rison took the match and then some with a 51-0 victory over Lakeside.
Meanwhile, after a disappointing six points in their last game, Barton made sure to put some points up on the board against Drew Central. Everything went Barton's way against Drew Central as they made off with a 50-25 win. Barton were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
Their wins bumped Barton to 5-3 and Rison to 8-0. After the lofty point totals in their previous games, we'll see if they're able to heat things up even more while facing each other.
