Basketball Recap: Donna Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Donna entered their tilt with Rivera on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They secured a 45-41 W over the Rivera Raiders. This was a revenge game for the Redskins: when they faced off against the Raiders back in November, they had to take a 37-26 defeat.

Several Raiders players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Abani Perdomo, who posted 11 points. That's the most points Perdomo has posted since back in November. The team also got some help courtesy of Oyuki Trevino, who put up nine points.

Donna's win bumped their record up to 11-8. As for Rivera, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 13-12 record this season.

Donna didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 38-33 loss against Pace on the 17th. As for Rivera, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 54-27 victory against Porter on the 17th.
