The Westminster School at Oak Mountain Knights's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their fourth straight loss. They took a 27-18 hit to the loss column at the hands of Altamont. Westminster School at Oak Mountain was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Altamont apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2023.
Altamont found their leader in underclassman Abbey Sellers, who scored 13 points. Those 13 points set a new season-high mark for her. The team also got some help courtesy of Madison Goldberg, who scored six points.
Westminster School at Oak Mountain bumped their record down to 2-11 with that loss, which was their seventh straight at home. As for Altamont, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-5.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Westminster School at Oak Mountain will challenge Vincent at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Altamont, they will head out on the road to face off against Southeastern at 3:30 p.m. on Monday.
