Gregory-Portland scaled the state rankings by moving to 597 from 653 this week, the biggest jump in 4A Region IV District 30. The Wildcats were able to move up by defeating Rockport-Fulton 21-7.
Calhoun extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Reagan, 47-0. The victory was the fourth in a row for the Sandcrabs.
Victoria West's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Anthony Navarro threw for 101 yards and Jonathan Jimenez had 41 yards receiving. On the ground Navarro chipped in 106 yards. Malcom Peoples helped Victoria West's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 30 yards.
