Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Harrells Christian Academy). They secured  a  45-39 W over the Cape Fear Christian Academy Eagles on Monday. The  win was a breath of fresh air for the Crusaders as it put an end to their 11-game losing streak.
 Despite the loss, Cape Fear Christian Academy still got an impressive performance from   Glenna McLamb, who  went 8 of 18  on her way to 21  points and six  steals. That's the most  steals  McLamb has posted since back in January of 2024.  Mary Andemichael was another key player,  putting up four points.
Harrells Christian Academy's victory  ended  a  five-game drought on the road  dating back to last season and  puts them at 2-12. As for Cape Fear Christian Academy, they dropped their record down to 3-9 with the  loss, which was their fourth straight  at home.
 Harrells Christian Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  contest,  a  55-23  defeat against Halifax Academy on the 16th. Cape Fear Christian Academy has also  already played their next match,  a  56-27  loss against Crossroads Christian on the 17th.
