Mountain Heritage is 8-2 against Hendersonville since September of 2016, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. Hezzie Rudisill had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 134 yards and two touchdowns on only 15 carries. He got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run and that went for an incredible 70 yards. The team also got some help courtesy of Amir Albany, who rushed for 80 yards and a touchdown.
Albany wasn't the only one working in the rushing yards department: Hendersonville was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 242 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in September of 2023.
Hendersonville's defense was in the mix too, especially the secondary: they snagged three passes before it was all said and done. It was truly a group effort as Gianni Jacobs, Ace Smith, and Gianni Thompson picked up one apiece. Omirion Barber was another major factor on D, picking up a sack and making six total tackles (4.0 for loss).
Mountain Heritage's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Hendersonville, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
