Football Recap: Blackhawk Skates Past Yough with Ease + How To Watch

Blackhawk won the last time they faced Yough and things went their way on Friday too. Blackhawk blew past Yough 49-6. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 42-0.

This one was won in the trenches and the lion's share of the credit has to go to Brayden McCarthy and Hayden Magill. McCarthy rushed for 111 yards and one touchdown on only ten carries while Magill rushed for 91 yards and one TD on only seven carries. Those 91 rushing yards gave Magill a new career-high. Zachary Feeley made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.

Blackhawk was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 354 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Yough only rushed for 137.

Despite the loss, Yough still got an impressive performance from Aidan Shaffer, who rushed for 104 yards and one score.

Blackhawk moved to 2-3 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Yough, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-3.
