After four games on the road, Collins Hill is heading back home. They will finish 2023 at home by hosting the Lambert Longhorns at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Friday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Collins Hill beat Murray County 53-48.
Collins Hill's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Paris Fillingame, who scored 19 points along with six assists. That makes it four consecutive games in which Fillingame has scored at least 25% of Collins Hill's points. Another player making a difference was Sabria Harris, who scored 12 points along with eight rebounds.
Meanwhile, Lambert got the win against North Gwinnett on Saturday by a conclusive 65-40. The win made it back-to-back wins for Lambert.
Collins Hill is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. As for Lambert, their victory bumped their record up to 5-8.
