The Geneva Eagles will face off against the West Geauga Wolverines at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Geneva is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.9 runs per game this season.
On Tuesday, Geneva made easy work of Berkshire and carried off a 13-3 victory. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three games by ten runs or more this season.
Annabelle Bragg made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over six innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits (and only one walk). She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one walk in five consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI. That stolen base was her first of the season.
