Leading Heritage Christian Academy to victory were Layton Giltner and Jason Leek. Giltner dropped a double-double on 18 points and 11 rebounds, while Leek scored 30 points along with seven steals. Giltner continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.
Christian Fellowship has not been sharp recently as the team's lost seven of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season. As for Heritage Christian Academy, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-7.
Christian Fellowship will play host again and welcome the Rockets, where tip off is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Kentucky (Crittenden County is ranked 239th, while the Eagles are ranked 256th). As for Heritage Christian Academy, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against the Cougars at 1:30 p.m. on January 27th. Somerset Christian has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
