The Churchill Chargers won the last time they faced the SA Roosevelt Rough Riders, and things went their way on Saturday too. Churchill enjoyed a cozy 60-45 win over SA Roosevelt. The win made it back-to-back wins for Churchill.
SA Roosevelt lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Ethan Liserio, who scored 13 points along with two steals. Another player making a difference was Jensen Rentas-gonzalez, who scored nine points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Churchill is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-15 record this season. As for SA Roosevelt, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-19.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Brandeis the next time they take the court. Churchill will head out to face Brandeis at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, while SA Roosevelt will host them at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
