The Florence Huskies lost to the La Junta Tigers back in February of 2023, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. Florence blew past La Junta 64-37 at home. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Florence.

The team also got some help courtesy of Garrett Royer, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 15 rebounds.
Florence has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 8-10 record this season. As for La Junta, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-15.

As for La Junta, they will head out on the road to square off against James Irwin at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. La Junta is coming into the match with four straight losses on the road, meaning James Irwin will have to defend against a squad hungry for a win.
