Greenville had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Friday. They blew past the Pana Panthers 15-0. The result was nothing new for the Comets, who have now won 12 games by six runs or more so far this season.

Greenville pushed their record up to 20-2 with the victory, which was their seventh straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Pana, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-9.
