On Saturday, the Jefferson Area Falcons's game was all tied up 16-16 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They walked away with a 40-32 win over Berkshire. The win made it back-to-back wins for Jefferson Area.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Jefferson Area to victory, but perhaps none more so than Tatum Bordeaux, who scored 12 points. Another player making a difference was Mia Contenza, who scored 12 points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Jefferson Area has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a massive bump to their 8-6 record this season. As for Berkshire, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-9.
Jefferson Area will head out on the road to square off against Perry at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Berkshire, they will be playing at home against Wickliffe at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
