After flying high against the Parke Heritage Wolves last Saturday, The Fountain Central Mustangs came back down to earth. Fountain Central was dealt a 42-6 defeat at the hands of Park Tudor on Friday. Having soared to a lofty 51 points in the game before, Fountain Central couldn't push the score so high this time.
Eli Foxworthy threw for 77 yards and a touchdown. Owen Acton was his top target, gaining 92 total yards.
Dj (darrell) gordon continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Park Tudor, throwing for 276 yards and four touchdowns while completing 72.2% of his passes, and also rushing for 93 yards and a touchdown on only ten carries. Hayden Souza also helped out as he racked up 105 receiving yards.
Fountain Central's loss dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Park Tudor, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 10-0.
Fountain Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Park Tudor will look to defend their home field on Friday against Clinton Central at 6:30 p.m. Clinton Central will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Indiana Rankings (they are ranked 296th, while Park Tudor is ranked 133rd).
