Another back making a difference was CHRIS RADCLIFFE, who rushed for 108 yards and one touchdown on only eight carries.
Nitro's run defense was locked in: Winfield could only muster 2.7 yards per carry. While two picked up at least one total tackle, THOMPSON stood above the rest. He picked up 145 receiving yards and a pair of TDs. That's the most yards per carry they've managed all season.
Several Generals players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Drew Mann, who picked up 51 receiving yards and a pair of scores. An impressive showing, but Mann really ramped things up playing D: he picked up two sacks, forced one fumble, and made eight total tackles. Aiden Tate also helped with two touchdowns in total.
Nitro's win bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Winfield, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-3.
