They were the victim of a tough 43-17 defeat at the hands of Waterford. Utah Military Academy - Hill Field has not had much luck with Waterford recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.
Despite the loss, Utah Military Academy - Hill Field still got an impressive performance from Kendall Prieto, who scored ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Giselle Patino, who scored seven points.
Leading Waterford to victory were Lexee Hasebi and Anne Howard . Hasebi scored six points along with four steals, while Howard scored 16 points. The game was Howard 's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Caroline Aaronson, who scored six points.
Utah Military Academy - Hill Field bumped their record down to 0-3 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Waterford, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-1.
Utah Military Academy - Hill Field will be playing at home against Wasatch Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Waterford, they will head out on the road to face off against Maeser Prep Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
