 Meanwhile, Anchor Bay can finally bid farewell to their seven-game losing streak thanks to their game  on Wednesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  a  6-5  victory over Algonac. Anchor Bay's hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most  runs they've scored all season.
 Lakeview's win bumped their record up to 7-9. As for Anchor Bay, their victory bumped their record up to 2-7.
 Lakeview came up short against Anchor Bay in their previous meeting  back in May of 2021, falling  5-0. Can Lakeview avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
